Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JavedLegalHub ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, including the typing course, the Advocates Portal, the Drafting Portal, the Legal Advice request form, and the Career section.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account details: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
  • Advocate profile details: photo (optional), contact number, district, area of practice, and bio, if you register as an advocate.
  • Payment reference information and payment screenshots you submit for course, software, or advocate listing payments — we do not process card payments ourselves and do not store card numbers.
  • Messages you submit through the Legal Advice request form or the Contact page.
  • Job applications, including your resume/CV if you choose to upload one.
  • Your typing lesson progress, used to track course completion.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate the website, including creating and maintaining your account, unlocking paid lessons after payment confirmation, displaying advocate profiles publicly on the Advocates Portal (only after listing payment is confirmed), responding to legal advice requests and contact messages, reviewing job applications, and improving the site.

3. What is shown publicly

If you register as an advocate and your listing payment is confirmed, your name, photo (if provided), contact number, district, and area of practice are displayed publicly on the Advocates Portal so members of the public can contact you. Do not submit information you do not want shown publicly through the advocate signup form.

4. Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. If this site displays advertising (for example, through Google AdSense), Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the site (such as hosting and payment verification) and where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Free typing-course accounts that complete both free lessons and do not unlock the full course within 10 days are automatically deleted, along with their associated progress data.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us through the contact page.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

9. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy, please reach out via our contact page.
